Seems a lack of tradies willing to do the hard yards these days even when paid. My hips are getting stuffed, but what else to do? Might give you idea ago. thanks.

    Great video! On my cherry tree I found only two cherry slugs on the bottom of leafs. I smashed them. My cherry tree is still very young, a baby tree. Expecting fruit next year or 2 years from now. I planted it a year ago. I found only 4 or 5 leafs partially damaged. 90% of them are still healthy looking and vibe. Still shooting out new leafs. By the way, I love your little helper too ♥🙂

    I have a critique for you from a Welshman (my husband) - the spice should be nutmeg, the third one you turned in the second pan full was the perfect colour (although he prefers them with burnt bits like his grandmother used to make) and you absolutely definitely have to sprinkle them with granulated sugar (which mostly won't stick but apparently that's irrelevant) they should not be squishy in the middle, just crumbly. After 27 years together I have yet to make a perfect batch but he has bravely choked down my many efforts in the pursuit of cultural culinary competence.

    • @CheaperWaysNZ
      @CheaperWaysNZ 4 дня назад

      Oh I love this comment! Good to know I got at least one of them right haha ... I knew somehow I'd get stick for not sprinkling them with sugar - I'll admit I nearly reached for the icing sugar as I thought that would stick better, but figured I'd get even worse critiques for doing that 😂 ... I wish you well in your journey for cultural culinary competence ... maybe I'll get there one day too lol

    Very interesting. I have a similar setup with the outlet vent at the end of the hall aiming to heat 2 bedrooms that come off it. I've been having trouble with my system losing a lot of heat (6 degrees over 9 metres). I'm using R1.0, 150mm duct. It sounds like I might need to go a bit bigger duct + better insulation.

    • @CheaperWaysNZ
      @CheaperWaysNZ 8 дней назад

      Yeah the insulation tends to need bulking up over time - we've found our roof insulation we've had to put new stuff over the top (I think they tend to have better standards these days though), but yeah 150mm duct over a certain distance isn't much so good thinking with the bigger duct as well.

      Oh I might try that - does it make it stay soft for a bit longer?
